W2WVU - Pakistan and India
Program Specifics

Women2Women Virtual University (W2WVU) - Pakistan and India is hosted by Empower Peace, and sponsored by the U.S. Mission Pakistan in partnership with the U.S. Mission India. W2WVU is a youth-based program designed to educate and inspire young women to gain the confidence and skills needed to actively seek leadership positions in their communities and country.

  • Empower Peace will organize and conduct a virtual leadership program for up to 180 emerging female leaders in Pakistan and India. Participants will represent the diverse demographics of both countries.

  • The select leaders will participate in a virtual program, consisting of eight (8) 90-minute sessions featuring esteemed presenters representing business, government and non-profit organizations from Pakistan, India and the United States.

  • The emerging female leaders, all between the ages of 18 and 25 years, will be trained via a series of skills-building workshops and presentations. Among the topics to be addressed will include: leadership and negotiation; constructive dialogue; public speaking and emotional intelligence.

  • The result of this life changing experience will be the establishment of a network of emerging female leaders committed to bringing about positive change in their communities and country. This network will establish the framework and foundation for an ever-growing network of Empower Peace female leaders committed to building bridges of communication, cooperation, peace and understanding.

Program Hosts

Through a global network of youth, Empower Peace is providing the next generation with the opportunities and tools needed to build cultural competencies, develop leadership skills, advance mutual respect and understanding, promote peace and confront the issues of today.

Empower Peace, a Boston USA-based international non-profit was created in 2003. Our organization’s premiere program is the Women2Women International Leadership Program (W2W). W2W was developed to provide rising young female leaders with the skills needed to succeed in our global community.  W2W builds a network of promising young women from around the globe, engages them in the issues that define their lives, and provides them with the tools, relationships and opportunities required to lead.

Since its launch in 2006, over 2,000 emerging female leaders from nearly 80 countries have participated in this life-changing leadership experience.

The overwhelming success and impact of our Leadership program has inspired us to create and launch both an International Virtual University and a specific virtual program, entitled: Women2Women Virtual University – Pakistan and India.
